Inside the formula

Unlike standard whey-only powders built solely for rapid post-workout digestion, Optimum Nutrition Essential Protein Powder relies on complete milk protein as its foundation. Because milk protein naturally retains both whey and casein fractions, it offers sustained amino acid delivery alongside a naturally creamy mouthfeel. Each serving provides 24 g of complete protein and 11 g of essential amino acids (EAAs) to support muscle recovery and daily tissue maintenance.

Despite its indulgent consistency, the profile stays lean. Each serving contains 110 to 120 calories, 3 g of carbohydrates, less than 1 g of fat, and just 1 g of sugar with 0 g of added sugars, alongside a good source of dietary calcium.

Who is it for?

This formula is designed for active adults, lifters, and busy professionals seeking a versatile, great-tasting way to boost daily protein intake. It is an ideal fit if you prefer a thicker, milkshake-style consistency over thin isolate shakes, or want a low-sugar option that works equally well at breakfast, between meals, or post-workout.
